Meet the Founder
Smilie Filomeno Rodriguez, MSW is an Empowerment Coach, Leadership Speaker, and the heart behind Smilie Empowerment LLC, helping women move from survival mindset to purposeful leadership. With 30+ years in social work, mentoring, and advocacy, she’s guided individuals and communities through trauma, burnout, and identity challenges.
In 2023, Smilie left her 9–5 to fully reclaim her purpose, founding Smilie Empowerment and the Boss Chicas Club, blending mindset transformation, emotional awareness, and community support. She’s also the creator of Smilie Empowerment Journals, empowering women with daily reflection and purposeful action.
Known for her honesty, compassion, and culturally rooted perspective, Smilie inspires women to reclaim their voice, embrace leadership, and live with clarity, confidence, and impact.
